The digital catalogue for kirana shops and neighbourhood stores.

Plenty of shops already run on messaging: the customer sends a list, you pack it, somebody delivers it. That system works. The missing piece is not an app but a current rate list the customer can look at before they start typing, so that the order arrives right the first time.

The moment this is for

Where the current setup breaks.

A regular asks for your rate list. You send a photograph of a printed sheet from last year, with four items crossed out and two prices written in pen. Every order that follows starts with a correction.

Build it block by block

Start from Kirana + General Store, then fill these in.

First action

Order on WhatsApp.

Rates before everything, because that is the document customers keep asking for. Delivery hours and area next, which between them prevent most of the calls you cannot serve.

Specific to this work

The order channel already exists, and it is not a website.

In this trade the customer relationship lives in a chat thread that is often years old. A page that tries to replace the thread fails; a page that makes the thread work better — one link with current rates, pinned in the chat — gets used from the first day.

Straight answer

No stock, no payments, no delivery routing.

Nothing here knows what is on your shelves, and nobody pays through it. The order still lands in your chat and the money still moves the way it does today. What changes is that the rate list stops being a photograph from 2023.
