You keep ownership of your content. You give Pubtact the limited permission needed to host and display it. Use the service lawfully, protect your account, and review the plan terms before paying.
1. Who these Terms are between
These Terms govern access to Pubtact, a service operated from India (“Pubtact”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). “You” means the person using the service and, where applicable, the organization they are authorized to represent.
By creating an account, publishing a page, or purchasing a plan, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use Pubtact for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. A parent or legal guardian must supervise use by anyone who cannot enter into a binding agreement in their location.
3. Accounts and security
- Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.
- Keep passwords, sign-in links, and session access confidential.
- Tell us promptly at hello@pubtact.com if you believe your account is compromised.
- You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from a failure within Pubtact's control.
4. Your pages and content
You retain ownership of names, text, images, links, product details, and other material you add to Pubtact. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use and publish that content.
You grant Pubtact a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit, and display your content only as needed to operate, protect, and improve the service. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup cycles and legal retention duties.
Published pages are public. Anyone with the URL may view, copy, share, index, or capture information you choose to publish. Review the public preview before publishing contact or location details.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Pubtact to:
- impersonate others, mislead visitors, commit fraud, harass people, or facilitate unlawful activity;
- publish content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- distribute malware, phishing, spam, or deceptive redirects;
- probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass access controls except where applicable law clearly permits it;
- use automated access in a way that harms the service or other users.
We may remove content or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security, legal requests, non-payment, or a material breach of these Terms.
6. Plans, payments, and taxes
Current price, billing type, availability, and included capabilities are shown on the Pricing page and again before checkout. The beta lifetime offer is a one-time plan rather than an automatically renewing subscription. Any future recurring plan will state its renewal terms before purchase.
Payments are processed by Razorpay or another provider identified at checkout. Payment-provider terms also apply. You are responsible for applicable taxes, bank charges, and accurate billing information.
7. Refunds
The current paid offer has a 14-calendar-day refund window from the initial successful charge, subject to the eligibility and process in the Refund Policy. A completed refund returns the account to the applicable free plan and removes paid entitlements.
8. Third-party services and links
Pubtact may connect to payment providers, social sign-in providers, maps, websites, or destinations you choose to link. We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their availability, content, or separate terms and privacy practices.
9. Service changes and availability
Pubtact is an actively developed service. We may add, change, limit, or retire features to improve the product, maintain security, comply with law, or keep the service viable. We aim to provide reasonable notice when a change materially reduces a paid capability, where practical.
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, a particular business outcome, permanent third-party compatibility, or that every error will be corrected immediately.
10. Ending use of Pubtact
You can delete your account from account settings. Deletion removes account and page data from active systems and de-identifies payment records that must be retained for transaction, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal reasons.
We may suspend or terminate access for a serious or repeated breach, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinued service. Where appropriate and lawful, we will try to provide notice and a chance to address the issue.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pubtact is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Pubtact in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or ₹2,500. Nothing here excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer protection that applies where you live. Courts with jurisdiction in Pune, Maharashtra will handle disputes that cannot be resolved informally, unless applicable law requires another forum.
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. The updated date will appear at the top. For a material change, we will provide additional notice where reasonably possible. Continued use after the effective date means the revised Terms apply.
