The digital menu page for restaurants, cafes and small kitchens.

A menu is a document that changes more often than anybody plans for. Printing it makes every change cost money, which is why so many tables carry a laminated card with a sticker over the prices.

A finished digital menu page for restaurants, built on Food + Orders — the whole page

The moment this is for

Where the current setup breaks.

Somebody scans the code on the table and lands on a PDF that opens at 40% zoom, sideways, on a phone. They pinch, give up, and ask the server what the specials are. The QR code did nothing except add a step.

Build it block by block

Start from Food + Orders, then fill these in.

  • HoursFeeds the Open now badge — a closed kitchen makes the rest irrelevant.
  • The menu by section block on Food + Orders
Menu by sectionDishes with prices, and a photo where it helps; each dish orders itself on WhatsApp.
  • The order on whatsapp block on Food + Orders
Order on WhatsAppThe one action, fixed at the bottom of every screen.
  • The directions block on Food + Orders
DirectionsFor the customers who would rather come and eat.
First action

Order on WhatsApp.

Open now first, because a closed kitchen makes the rest irrelevant. A structured menu rather than an uploaded PDF, because a PDF on a phone is the single most common way a table QR code fails.

Specific to this work

Menus are read on phones held in one hand, in low light, while people talk.

That is the actual reading environment, and it rules out three things at once: small type, wide tables that scroll sideways, and images heavy enough to stall on restaurant wifi. A section list with prices aligned right beats a beautiful PDF every time.

Straight answer

No table ordering and no payments.

Nobody places an order that reaches your kitchen from this page — the action opens a call, a chat, or the delivery platform you already use. If you want in-restaurant ordering and payment, that is a point-of-sale product.
